Plant sketches

Kahikatea hub has been learning about plants including the parts of and what is needed to look after plants.

For our task this afternoon, we started sketches of different plants by our hub. Miss Gallagher had a turn at creating a sketch.


We are going to practise giving each other feedback about our designs by commenting on each others art, by commenting on our blogs.

Please leave some positive, thoughtful and helpful comments about my drawing.

    Ms Ghent said: she liked how my branches looked realistic because I included knots. She thinks that I could improve my adding leaves and shading.

    It looks amazing! and really cool but...
    I think though you should start from the bottom and then up to improve the surface of the drawing

    miss g I like your tree because the brasher are not straight next time you
    could put some leaves on the brasher.

    Maybe just draw the leaves but other than that its REALLY COOL
